After discovering Renthop, I used the site solely to begin my search for an apartment in NYC, due to the ease of use and relevant search criteria to filter for my "must haves." The site also had current contact information to connect me with the appropriate people for the apartments in which I was interested in learning more, a critical component for a successful search in a very fast-moving market. Once Mayell received my inquiry for one of their properties, Annemarie reached out to me immediately via a phone call to gather information to begin looking at properties. This method of initial contact was key in getting the process started quickly - did I mention this is a very fast-moving market? - and via her call, she exhibited a high level of service that I find to be rare in any profession today. With me having flown in for a few days to search for an apartment, Annemarie was respectful of my time, took action, and put the process into motion by scheduling a showing later that same day. Not only is she very knowledgeable about the market and how the rental process works in NYC, but she is also EXTREMELY responsive, follows through expeditiously, and takes the action necessary for a successful search.
