Required Schedule Flexibility(1-5 scale with 5 as most flexible): 3 Job Description:The Public Relations office is open Monday-Friday 8 am to 5 pm and is the information outlet for campus visitors. In addition to answering general inquiries about the campus and its points of interest (Edwards Mill, Fruitcake and Jelly, etc.), the PR. office handles the College’s publicity (including tracking and archiving any publicity), composes the College’s quarterly magazine the “Ozark Visitor,” coordinates and gives bus tours to tour groups, produces promotional materials such as brochures and videos, is responsible for the photography of major events, and puts on the annual Honor America and Christmas Card to the Community events. Primary duties and responsibilities:Write press releases and Visitor stories, Secondary duties and responsibilities:Scan local newspapers for any mention of the College, Basic Qualifications:Communication skills, written and spoken. Must be an effective writer and must be able to effectively answer general inquiries on the College and its mission, as well as possess a good customer service attitude.
