whoever digs a pit falls into it himself
But is that really a saying? (Thanks for amswering My Wurstfinger btw)😊
*my question!!! I'm so sorry!!!!😂😂
It is not a saying I am familiar with yet it does make sense. "He who digs a pit for others, falls in himself." It means that someone that plans harm or misfortune for others may also inadvertently be the recipient of that same misfortune.
Do you speak a little German?😘
I used to be able to speak German as I was raised in Germany for 11 years. When I moved back the to United States, I did not have anyone to practice with. I can read a few words but my pronounciation is bad now.
Oh cool, where did you live?
This app will probably help you to get your pronunciation back!!!❤ If you want you can send me sth ...
Southwest Germany, mainly around Kaiserslautern. Where are you from?
I truly hope I can speak German again. I do want to visit again soon because I miss the beauty.Wurzburg is beautiful!
Have you already been here?🙃
I want to go to the USA one day. We talk about it a lot at school and I think it would be a great opportunity to improve my English...🙂
yes I was lucky to travel while I lived in Germany. I traveled all over southern Germany, northern France, western Austria, through Switzerland, and around the boot of Italy. It was over 20 years ago when I left. I am sure some things has changed but I know the historical buildings and beauty were protected. Honestly, you are not missing much in the United States as far as culture. If you visit, definately see the major cities (Los Angeles, New York City, Chicago, Boston. and Washington dC) as they have many historical sites and museums.
Okay thank you !!! Wow it's really cool to be able to travel like that!!!!!
It was very cool. As I said, I was lucky. Also, early fall (September) would be the best time to visit the USA. Most kids are back in school and it will be less crowded. Depending on the location, the temperature will be mild to slightly cool.
